Abstract
The prevalence was 86.4 % and mean intensity of infection was 9.1 of Hepatoxylon trichiuri of Prionace glauca, captured of the coastal waters of state of Rio Grande do Sul, and the prevalence was 4.9% and intensity of infection was 1.0 of Coryphaena hippurus, collected from a fish market of state of Rio de Janeiro. Hepatoxylon trichiuri was recorded by the first time of Prionace glauca in Brazil.
