Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of seam firm uterine artery descending branch on hemostasis of cervical wound after cold knife cinization. Methods Eighty-six women who underwent cold knife conization from June 2009 to May 2011 in Dongying people' s hospital were chose, including 52 cases as the study group with seam firm uterine artery descending branch and semi-pouch suture on the cervical wound and 34 cases as the control group with semi-pouch suture on the cervical wound. The effect, operative time, intraoperative and postoperative blood loss, postoperative hospital staying, and complication were compared between the two groups. Results No significant difference was found of the operative time between the study and control group [(31 ± 11) rain vs.(29 ± 14) min] (P > 0.05).In the study group, the intraoperative blood loss [(26 ± 12) ml vs (46 ± 12)ml],postoperative blood loss [(16 ± 13)ml vs (32 ± 19) ml],postoperative hospital staying[(3.6 ±0.5)d vs (5.3 ± 1.4)]d were less than those of the control group, there were significant differences (P all < 0.05).Conclusions Seam firm bilateral uterine artery descending branch and the semi-pouch suture of the cervical wound after cold knife conization will not affect the effect of therapeutic, and it can achieve better hemostasis, shorten postoperative hospital staying.
