Abstract
The treatment of external and internal hemorrhoids with the high frequency electric current was performed in 189 patients. The method is advised for the following reasons: (1) the short period of disability; (2) the relative comfort of the patient; (3) the absence of local edema and tenderness; (4) the rarity of recurrence, hemorrhage and stricture. The details of procedure are outlined.
