Abstract

In the latest 2020 WHO classification of tumors of bone and soft tissue, this group of tumor belongs to the category of “hematopoietic neoplasm of the bone.” Multiple myeloma is the most frequent bone tumor. Single site of disease is characteristic of solitary bone plasmacytoma. Primitive non-Hodgkin lymphoma of the bone is a neoplasm composed of malignant lymphoid cells and presents as lesion of the marrow, without ascertained extra-skeletal manifestations 6 months prior to onset of the disease. In this paper, all the epidemiological, clinical and imaging characteristics will be reviewed.
