Abstract

By being more aware of the experiences and concerns of noncustodial parents, professionals will be better prepared to help noncustodial parents to stay involved in the lives of their children. This paper explores the challenges faced by noncustodial parents-creating a second home for their children; keeping a working relationship with their ex-spouse; and meeting the needs of their chil-dren-and how a professional can help parents to successfully meet these challenges.
