Abstract
We perform the calculation of the Helium-3 magnetic dipole moment in quark model of nuclei, by assuming a nucleon’s structure is given in terms of its constituent quark structure. In the Isgur-Karl model framework, we considered nine quark system wave function in ground and first excited states and all possible permutations to calculate the expectation value of the magnetic dipole moment operator of the Helium-3. The result of our calculation is in a better agreement with the experimental value, as compared to shell model and QCD values.
