Abstract
Helicobacter pylori infection rate is high in China,and the burden of H. pylori related diseases(especially gastric cancer)is heavy. The domestic academia should unify the understanding of harm of H. pylori infection as soon as possible,and establish effective primary or secondary prevention systems for gastric cancer. The H. pylori eradication rate with traditional methods is declining year by year along with the increasing rate of antibiotic resistance in recent years. Clinicians should standardize the diagnosis and treatment of H. pylori infection and make effort to increase primary H. pylori eradication rate based on the latest consensus in this field.
