Heavy lepton production in ep collisions

Abstract

In this paper we study the possibility of heavy neutral and charged lepton production at HERA energies for three different theoretical models: superstring, mirror fermions and a four-generation heavy lepton pair. We worked out a Monte Carlo reconstruction of energy, transverse momentum and angular distributions of the full events. Even if these new leptons can be found at HERA we can make no clear distinction among their possible theoretical origins in the studied distributions.
