Abstract

The hydrogen isotopes4H and5H have been investigated in the one-proton knockout channel from6He (240 MeV/u) impinging on a carbon target. The result obtained for5H is compared with microscopical calculations. A broad structure in thet+n+n relative energy spectrum with a width of 6 MeV (FWHM), peaked at 3 MeV, has been assigned to the5H resonance.
