Abstract

Experimental study is performed on heat transfer and hydrodynamic of graphene nanofluid which flows a circular tube heated under constant heat flux condition. Evaluation is given by Nusselt number and friction factor in turbulent flow regime with Reynolds number of 6000–10000. Nano-graphene is manufactured cheaper than traditional methods by using pulsed discharge. It is observed that (a) Nusselt number of graphene nanofluid is enhanced by 28–33 % in comparison with pure water, (b) in contrast, the effect by addition particles on pure water is negligible, that is the difference between graphene nanofluid and water is 0.3–5.0 %.
