Abstract
A general nonlocal theory of heat transport in laser-plasma interaction experiments is presented. It is shown that the inverse bremsstrahlung absorption and the plasma expansion are responsible for heat fluxes q ib and q h which add to the heat flux due to the temperature gradient itself.
