Abstract
Heat-capacity measurements have been made in the temperature range 110 to 300 K. In the range 160 to 240 K the chromocene curve shows an anomaly related to an order-disorder phase transition in the solid. On the other hand the dibenzene chromium curve indicates no phase transition and is in accordance with an ordered structure at room temperature.
