Abstract

Heart rate variability is a method of non-invasive assessment of the functional state of the body, which allows us to study the functioning of regulatory mechanisms at various levels, the adaptation of the body to changes in the external and internal environment. In this paper, we consider the history of the development of the analysis of heart rate variability, its physiological justification, some aspects of the analysis technique and possible applications.
