Abstract
The headspace of flowers of Neofinetia falcata was analyzed by means of GC and GC-MS and found to contain 24 volatile components. the main constituents were linalool (40.5 %), methyl benzoate (13.4 %), cis-3-hexenyl tiglate (12.5 %), α-farnessene (9.0 %), methyl-2-pentanoate (7.7 %) and cis-3-hexen-1-ol (4.2 %), of which cis-3-hexenyl tiglate was found as one of the main component for the characteristic fragrance.
