Abstract
Radial transition integrals and gf values for excited-state transitions of the Be isoelectronic sequence involving 3l orbitals have been calculated within the context of the Z expansion method and perturbation theory in the LS coupling scheme with the `frozen core' Hartree-Fock approximation. Comparison of transition integrals from the present calculation with those from numerical Hartree-Fock results shows that agreement is satisfactory. gf values are calculated using experimental wavelengths. The results should be more reliable for higher members of the isoelectronic sequence.
