Abstract

The modern problem nowadays becomes insufficient harmonization of work and family life of employees, which has adverse effects on the conditions of work, family life and society. The need to harmonize work and family life is still topical, given the trends in European social, economic, demographic and political developments. The solutions at the national level should be implemented into corporate policy. Support family life is becoming an important component of corporate culture. The aim of this paper is to analyse various aspects of the problem, the possibilities of flexible work time and their using in practice by harmonization of work and family life in Slovakia.
