Abstract
In this paper an hierarchical and modular structure of supervision to control industrial process automation systems is presented. Implementation of such control structure relies on efficient communication tools. This work proposes an experimental prototype including several different devices and several fieldbus standards in order to support different level of communication and decision in the supervision structure.
