Abstract

This article discusses the various obstacles faced in the implementation of online learning of Hindu Religious Education and Character during the Covid 19 pandemic and solutions that can be taken to overcome these obstacles.The emergence of the Covid 19 pandemic changed the learning method, which at first students and teachers learning at school together, now have to carry out distance learning. Hindu Religious Education and Character as religious subjects must also be carried out using online learning methods.The purpose of writing this article is to provide solutions to the obstacles that arise in the implementation of online learning in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic. Data collection is carried out through the literature study method to reveal theories and information relevant to the topic being studied. In the implementation of online learning there are obstacles including not all students have facilities for online learning such as smartphones or laptops due to economic factors, unstable networks, expensive internet quotas and a lack of understanding in using learning applications. Solutions that can be done are the implementation of contextual learning, study visits, learning with printed media and using WhatsApp as a medium of communication and delivery of material because it can be used more for unstable networks.
