Abstract

Hadron masses are calculated in the quenched approximation to lattice gauge theories with a renormalization group improved lattice SU(3) gauge action and Wilson's quark action on a 16 3 × 32 lattice as well as on a 12 3 × 24 lattice at β = 2.4. The results are in good agreement with experimental data: especially, the results are completely consistent with the real values of the masses of the proton and the delta as well as their excited states, when the masses of pion ano are fitted.
