Abstract

A review is presented of today’s theoretical status of hadronic physics. It is shown that the Generally Accepted QCD (GAQCD) is faulty in both its theoretical foundations, and its comparisons with some recent experiments. A viable alternative to GAQCD, Anisotropic Chromo Dynamics (ACD), is shown to arise from QCD, when a study of its likely true ground state is carried out. Results and perspectives of this approach are presented and compared with the theoretical lines «en vogue».
