Abstract

The article analyzes the cognitive, social, sensory and material implications of multiscreen behavior in television consumption, especially the skills demanded from the viewer for practices of Social TV. The introduction of television in the convergence environment points to audience practices which need to be better identified and problematized. The article presents a portion of the results of empirical research, who analyzed the interaction of viewers of The Voice Brasil and MasterChef Brasil along three seasons, in three social networks (Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp). The study points out seven skills needed by the viewer for Social TV practices.
