Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine attitudes of fine arts education students towards methods of scientific research lesson. A scale that consists of 30 questions showing 5 different dimensions of attitudes has been applied to 119 (84 Visual Art Teachers + 35 Music Teachers) students training in the Karadeniz Technical University, Fatih Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education in the academic year 2009– 2010. The research has been conducted to find out the views of the students on process, content, and necessity of the course. At the end of the study, it is found out that students have indicated a middle level tendency and partly positive or negative approach to the concepts
