Abstract

The author studied the Heteroptera fauna of a 1 km2 area near the eco-village of Gyűrűfű (east Zselic region, Southern Transdanubia) during three Hungarian Biodiversity Days. The material collected by several entomologists by different methods contains 207 species, representing about 24 percent of Hungarian fauna. Among the collected species were found some rare ones, e.g. Lygocoris viridis, Criocoris nigripes, Himacerus boops, Aradus brenskei and Scolopostethus puberulus.
