Abstract

During the 6 days (2 days yearly) of this project the three authors collected 143 spider species from the area of Gyűrűfű village, from about 1 km2 area. These 143 spider species correspond to about 20% of the total spider species known in Hungary. Out of these 143 species 2 species were found to be new for the Hungarian fauna: Sintula corniger (Blackwall, 1856), Zora paralella Simon, 1878. This report will also discuss the dominance and disturbance tolerance categories of spider species native in Hungary. In addition some rare species will be introduced in details.
