Abstract
This comparative study between Buddhist Learning Philosophy and Benjamin Bloom’s is an attempt to develop guidelines for Wisdom Development in Bachelor’s degree curriculum by investigating eastern in comparison with western philosophy of education to identify their commonalities. To understand Buddhist philosophy on the issue of wisdom development, the researchers interviewed a group of experts in Buddhist philosophy. The interviewed results together with results from documentary research from Buddhist scriptures are synthesized and compared with Benjamin Bloom’s educational philosophy. The research finding has revealed a comparable learning process for wisdom development which is the synthesis of both Buddhist learning process and Benjamin Bloom’s educational theory.
