Abstract
ABSTRACT SEVER'S DISEASE IS A CONDITION IN CHILDREN THAT MAY BE THE RESULT OF OVERUSE. WITH SPORT INVOLVEMENT ON THE RISE AND AN INCREASING NUMBER OF TRAINING CAMPS, FACILITIES, AND PROGRAMS AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN OVERUSE INJURIES HAVE MULTIPLIED. THE PRESENT ARTICLE AIMS TO REVIEW THE CHARACTERISTICS OF SEVER'S DISEASE THROUGH SYNTHESIZING AVAILABLE INFORMATION, AND TO PROVIDE GUIDELINES TO RECOGNIZE, TREAT, AND PREVENT POTENTIAL CASES OF SEVER'S DISEASE.
