Abstract
The growth of LBO single crystal fibers by the laser-heated pedestal growth (LHPG) method is reported. Some LBO single crystal fibers were obtained by differently oriented seeds different source rods and different fluxes. The LBO single crystal fiber obtained by the seeds with phase matching direction gives an output of 0.532 μm green light when it is used as the SHG device of an Nd:YAG laser.
