Abstract
A method is suggested for the growth of HTSC single crystals of Bi(Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O free of flux, using an alumina ring inserted into the crucible with the melt. HTSC single crystals of the 2212 phase with T c = 91 K and size 3 × 2 × 1 mm have been obtained. Adding PbO into the melt and annealing of the crystals in an Ar atmosphere result in an increase of T c up to 120 K.
