Abstract

In this work, the 3-dimensional nonlinear anomalous diffusion equation is considered. The problem of group classification with respect to the Lie point symmetries is solved. The optimal system of subalgebras constructed for Lie algebra of admitted operators allows finding non-equivalent invariant solutions. Some examples of using 3-dimensional subalgebras for symmetry reduction are presented.
