Abstract
We report on the design of invisibility cloaking of objects on a flat conducting plane. The cloak is constructed of one pair of electromagnetic beam modulation blocks proposed in our previous work. Based on the transformation optics (TO), light rays (or electromagnetic waves) of any incident angles from the upper half space could be bended around any object on a conducting plane through such an invisibility cloak and reflected as if there is only air covering the conducting plane, making the object on the plane invisible. The material constitution parameters for the invisibility cloak are relatively moderate without any singularity, which could facilitate the fabrication. Full wave electromagnetic numerical simulations have been carried out, which verify the property of the invisibility cloak.
