Abstract
Construction development at a large scale is a matter of concern to the society. Green construction is introduced to minimize the problem of environment degradation. Green procurement is perceived as an effective method to improve the environmental performance of a green construction. However, green procurement is at its initial stages and it is still not been widely adopted by the stakeholders in the construction development. Acknowledging the importance of stakeholder, thus, extensive literature review was conducted to study the concept of stakeholder values in adoption of green procurement. A thorough literature review was conducted by summarizing the relevant journal from the Journal of Cleaner Production. The aim of this paper is to study the roles of stakeholder values for the success of green procurement implementation. It was found that there are five categories of stakeholder values identified for the implementation of the green procurement practice. These values serve as a guideline for future research and references for the success of green procurement adoption.
