Abstract
To assist researchers identify the links between Green Human Resource Management (HRM) and talent management, this chapter focuses on existing theoretical and empirical research in both fields, with the aim of identifying new research opportunities that exist at the intersection between Green HRM and talent management. It commences with an outline of conceptual approaches to Green HRM and talent management, discusses points of intersection between Green HRM and talent management, and suggests areas of future research where the Green HRM and talent management researchers might explore potential links between their fields. In the absence of an agreed set of specific Green HRM or talent management practices in the literature, the chapter uses broad functional descriptors, such as recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, and rewards and recognition, to focus our discussion of points of intersection in the literature.
