Abstract

Corporate social responsibility in sustainable growth is an active commitment and action made by enterprises to all stakeholders. After comparing the differences between the two kinds of corporate responsibility in multiple dimensions, the hypothesis of different trends is put forward. With the many problems faced by enterprises in the process of transformation and upgrading sustainable growth, the study takes green credit as an impact indicator to further study the relationship between corporate social responsibility and sustainable growth. This paper empirically studies the development characteristics of 658 A-share listed manufacturing companies during 2001–2022. This research offers that in the process of enterprise development, sustainable growth has affected the transformation of a large number of manufacturing enterprises, and with the passage of time, the social responsibility behavior of enterprises moves towards the medium level or above, while the environmental responsibility behavior of enterprises appears to have a to have a high or low level of differentiation. It is obvious that when corporate social responsibility is gradually promoted, it is conducive to the active implementation of sustainable growth in enterprises.
