Summary

Introduction

Sustainable development is a fundamental concept in business management research through its association with a competitive advantage. Considerable progress has been made in this area in recent years, including moving away from the narrow definition of sustainability and competitive advantage based on superior economic performance over recognizing the importance of making connections with the economic, social and environmental impacts of business (Harrison et al, 2010). This has been argued from the perspective of corporate sustainability theory from stakeholders, where redefining the main purpose and objectives of the business is part of a system of influential stakeholders by corporate settings and goals (Freeman, 1984). Besides the above-mentioned achievements, the fisheries industry is still revealing many shortcomings and inadequacies, not commensurate with the potential and advantages of the country's fisheries development
