Abstract

The calculation of the radiation term in the case of single poles is carried out in the framework of a Lorentz-invariant theory including gravitational and inertial masses. A comparison with electrodynamics shows the relationship between the roles of the charge and of the gravitational mass in the renormalization formulas. The radiation terms are similar to those which were obtained in general relativity with the «fast approximation» method. But the disagreement with the experiment and the consequences of the «fast approximation» method are avoided in this Lorentz-invariant theory.
