Abstract
The gravitational field of an axial source with mass $m$ and quadrupole moment $q$ is investigated within general relativity. The solutions of Weyl equations in Weyl and Schwarzschild coordinates are obtained. The limiting case for the corresponding metrics at $m\ensuremath{\rightarrow}0$ is considered.
