Abstract

This integrative literature review evaluated the scientific production regarding pregnancy inadolescence and rates of school dropout, using the Virtual Health Library (VHL) databasesand considering the period between 2001 and 2011. Of the 19 analyzed articles, 78.9% wereinternational, and 72% described the vulnerability situations associated with adolescence. It isemphasized there is a need to include health education actions at school, mainly performed byNurses considering their attributions as health educators and aimed at a multidimensionalapproach to sexuality.
