Abstract

ABSTRACTA three-dimensional (3D) porous graphene oxide/polyacrylic acid (GO/PAA) aerogel with double network skeleton was assembled by in situ solution polymerization method toward removing multi-cationic dyes from wastewater, such as methylene blue (MB), crystal violet (CV), methyl orange (MO), and rhodamine B (RhB), in which the adsorption capacities for CV and MB were 851.31 and 771.14 mg g−1, respectively. This composite showed outstanding adsorption capacity due to the structure of 3D double network skeleton, large specific surface area, and remarkable carboxyl group content.
