Abstract

The results of a graphoanalytical study of the processes of interaction of the sprocket with the links of the drive gear chain are presented. It is established that in gear chains with rolling joints, an increase in the contact step of the chain occurs in the process of engagement of the chain with the sprocket. The process of changing the contact step is carried out by turning the sprocket by two angular steps. The phenomenon of changing the contact step increases the unevenness of the chain movement and is undesirable. Recommendations are given for reducing dynamic loads in a drive with toothed chains. Keywords: drive gear chain, sprocket, contact step, hinges, plates. vms72@mail.ru, s.skri pkin.1936@mail.ru
