Abstract
The discovery of 21 pulsars such that increased fluxes of ultrahigh-energy particles are found to come from the direction of these pulsars within a narrow solid angle is reported. An analysis of the particle arrival directions shows that there are gradients in particle distributions, their centers coinciding with the locations of the pulsars. The problem of the origin of ultrahigh-energy cosmic rays is discussed.
