Abstract
Gold Rush is a central digital registry of databases (e.g., abstracting/indexing services), full-text electronic journals, and other full-text resources available on the Internet. The project was undertaken by the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries on behalf of its member libraries in order to offer improved patron access to electronic resources (especially full-text journals that are embedded within commercial aggregator services) and to offer better administrative tools for managing contracts, and collection overlap analysis. The system is Web-based and has a public interface as well as a staff administrative mode.
