Abstract
Current paper is based on the recent proposals of researcher Krieg-Planque (2010) in his works at the interface of information sciences and language studies, foregrounded on the theoretical framework of French Discourse Analysis, evoked by the notion of discursive genesis developed by Maingueneau ((1984) 2008). Research focuses on the phrase 'peace culture' within the Brazilian public space, especially in the book Cultura de Paz: redes de convivencia (DISKIN, 2009), a milestone during the period of the formulas intense propagation. The essay shows how a consensus effect is produced on the linguistic surface of a term that, in its uses, is home to several interpretations.

Current paper is based on the recent proposals of researcher Krieg-Planque (2010) in his works at the interface of information sciences and language studies, foregrounded on the theoretical framework of French Discourse Analysis, evoked by the notion of discursive genesis developed by Maingueneau ([1984] 2008). Focalizamos, para tanto, o sintagma ‘cultura de paz’, que, entre outros materiais textuais bastante diversos, aparece com proeminência na cartilha Cultura de Paz: redes de convivência (DISKIN, 2009), num período de intensificação de sua circulação no espaço público.
