Abstract
Glycogen fractions have been investigated in guinea pig liver by the anthrone technique and histochemically by Gomori's hexamine silver method. It is concluded that it is only the trichloroacetic acid soluble fraction of tissue glycogen that is demonstrated by this histochemical technique.
