Abstract

The GLOBUS-M magnet system consists of 16 toroidal field (TF) coils, one central solenoid (CS) coil and 20 poloidal field (PF) coils. The TF coil is a single turn which consists of the bronze straight inner leg and copper outer leg. The inner legs of the central core have the wedged form. The outer turns attached to inner legs with the bolted connections at the bottom and special bandage at the top. The PF coils are fasten to TF coils. The central solenoid (CS) is wound around the inner legs of the toroidal field coils. The magnetic field at the solenoid axis amounts to 8.3 T. The CS incorporates two layers of conductor baked into insulation. The GLOBUS-M vacuum vessel (W) is designed as all-welded stainless steel construction equipped with ports, manholes and in-vessel components. The basic parameters of the GLOBUS-M magnet system and PF coils and CS and VV are presented. The PF coils fastening and the support and the intercoil structures are described. The circuit of assembly and disassembly of the Globus-M tokamak magnet system is submitted.
