Abstract

Abstract This paper provides the result of a parametric sensitivity study conducted on the atmospheric dispersion module of the Accident Damage Analysis Module for consequence assessment, developed by the European Commission to support the EU competent authorities for the implementation of the Seveso Directive in their countries or other legislation associated with chemical safety and security. A variance-based Global Sensitivity Analysis was conducted on a series of reference scenarios build by using the trials of the Jack Rabbit II coordinated model inter-comparison exercise, in order to establish the impact of input parameters on the model output uncertainty.
