Abstract

Future expectations indicate a significant increase in the rates of fossil energy use over the coming decades in light of many factors (population growth and high rates of global economic growth). However, despite a shift at the worldwide level of the diversification of energy supplies, this diversification still constitutes a small percentage of energy production globally.
