Abstract

With the advancements in computer technology, Geographical Information System (GIS) has become a powerful tool for analyzing spatial data. By integrating GIS with Supervisory control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), it is possible for analyzing and planning distribution networks. Starting with introduction to GIS, this paper discusses methods for integrating GIS with SCADA and its applications in Distribution network.
