Abstract

To the Church at the beginning of the 20th century, sport comes to represent a way to open up to the world outside. This is why it comes to take on an educational configuration in compliance with the traditional Catholic code. This meant that sport came to represent not just a factor of “the Catholic step into” social life, but a contributory to religious formation as well.
