Abstract
Papillary fibroelastomas are one of the benign cardiac tumors which often occur on the heart valves. Usually, these tumors are very small in size and still have a very high potential to cause embolic and obstructive symptoms. This report describes a case of giant papillary fibroelastoma of the left atrium,, in a 50-year-old male, successfully treated by tumor excision.
