Abstract
The magnetic hyperfine splitting frequencies ν M = gμ N B HF h of 181 Re(j π = 5 2 +; T 1 2 = 20 h), 182 Re (j π = 7 +; T 1 2 = 64 h) and 184 Re (j π = 3 − ; T 1 2 = 38 d) as dilute impurities in Fe have been determined with NMR on oriented nuclei as 729.3(3) MHz, 231.3(1) MHz and 482.5(1) MHz, respectively. Neglecting hyperfine anomalies, which are expected to be small, the known hyperfine field B HF (ReFe) = −750(15) kG can be used to derive the g-factors as g( 181 Re) = 1.276(26) , g( 182 Re) = 0.405(8) and g( 184 Re) = 0.844(17) . The g-factors are discussed in the framework of the Nilsson model.
